The All Nations Full Gospel Churches International is a church planting movement,
led by Dr. Samuel Donkor, which began in 1982 as a street ministry in Toronto, Ontario.
Consumed with great passion for souls, he walked the streets of Jane and Finch leading
countless number of people to Christ. Before long the weekly Bible Studies in his
apartment were overflowing with people, and he had to move out to the Yorkwoods
Gate Community Centre.
In December 1986 the church moved to 96 Hucknall Road to share facilities with the
Faith Lutheran Church. Within months of moving to 96 Hucknall Rd, the building was
full and he was forced to look for larger facilities. The Church then rented a ten
thousand square foot (10,000 sq. ft) industrial unit at 4267 Steeles Avenue to accommodate
the growing Church.
The exponential growth led to the search for a bigger home for the ministry. And
in July 1992 he held the opening service at 4401 Steeles Avenue West.
The mandate given to Dr. Donkor is to plant 300 churches in his lifetime, and the
organization is poised to tackle the first mass church planting in 2007 to 2009.
The goal is to plant 13 new churches.
The current churches are 30 in number, and have been organised into three main districts:
Western,
Eastern, African/European.
